What To Bring

Note: To receive resources at ENCM, neighbors must reside in Davidson County. ​

Signing Up A 1-person Household

  • Photo ID

  • Proof of current address: Even if your address is on your license, we need one additional proof of residency. This can be a utility bill, lease, current invoice from the last 12 months, car registration, or proof of insurance.​

Signing Up A Family

  • A photo ID for all adults over 18

  • Proof of current address: Even if your address is on your license, we need one additional proof of residency. This can be a utility bill, lease, current invoice from the last 12 months, car registration, or proof of insurance.

  • For each child: Birth certificate or current school ID or health insurance card.

Returning Clients

  • If you have been to ENCM within the last 6 months, all you need to bring is your photo ID, and proof of current address.

  • If you haven’t been in in over 6 months, please bring your photo ID, proof of address, and identification for all of your household members.

Annual Renewal

Once per year, our system requires us to recertify our neighbors in our system. To recertify, please bring:

  • A photo ID

  • Proof of current address:

  • Identification for all of your household members, including children.

We will do our best to inform you before renewal arrives.

A Warm Welcome: You'll be greeted by our friendly volunteers who will take the time to hear your situation and guide you through our inviting space. We're here to listen and understand your needs.

Our Free Market Experience: Browse our well-stocked shelves and shop like you would at a paid grocery store.

  • Choose pantry staples and household essentials that suit your family's needs.

  • Select quality, clean clothing for all ages and seasons.

  • Our volunteers can offer advice on selections and cooking tips if you'd like.
